Arcade Fire’s new The Suburbs album is amazing. It takes a few listens to really get into it, but after a few weeks of listening, it is one of my favourite albums.

Today they released an interactive video for We Used To Wait called The Wilderness Downtown, and it is unlike any music video you’ve ever seen.

You can watch my experience or create your own. It was done as a Google Experiment to highlight HTML5, so it is best viewed in Google Chrome, but Firefox works too.

My experience was really eerie. Like going back in time to watch myself running down abandoned Winnipeg streets.
