That’s actually a fruit called a singkamas in tagalog or yam bean in english: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pachyrhizus and not a turnip. I remember eating it as a child, it tastes slightly sweet almost like an apple and similar texture too LikeLike Reply
