I’m super honoured and a bit overwhelmed that Flickr chose one of my photos to show off their new embedded photos feature. Too bad wordpress.com doesn’t allow iframes, because I think it’s a really cool feature.

In the past 24 hours, my photo has gotten 29,000 views and 50 favourites. Crazy.

I read their blog post earlier in the day and when I saw my photo I just assumed they programmed it so that any user would see their own photo featured. It wasn’t until my phone started going nuts because of all comments and favourites that I realized that everyone was seeing my photo.

The snowflake photo is from a snowshoeing trip to Dog Mountain in January.
