What a busy Easter Weekend. We had Michelle and my Dad’s wedding, a 75th birthday party for my dad, and an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids all in 3 days.
The Wedding
The wedding was beautiful and went off without a hitch. I know dad a Michelle were a bit stressed leading up to the event. But it was a beautiful day in Vancouver, a beautiful ceremony, and a beautiful couple. Astrid was overjoyed with her chance to finally be a flower girl. The Porter kids and grandkids contributed a song with new words to My Girl by the Temptations.
75th Birthday Party
A small celebration was squeezed in between the wedding and Easter to celebrate my dad’s 75th birthday. We made a collage with pictures spanning all adventures he’s had over the decades.
Easter Egg Hunt
Easter wasn’t as complicated as past years, but the kid still had dozens of eggs to find and riddles to solve. This year they had a crossword puzzle to figure out with clues found in the eggs.
