Maybe after the centre is a huge success (and I’m sure it will be), they will get some actual self-contained product teams there, and eventually a real Canadian Development Campus. 🙂
I’m personally not so keen on working remotely from the product-team mothership, but I am sort of a dork.

I agree. Working on a remote team is crappy.
But at least Vancouver is in the same timezone as Redmond, and close enough to have joint meetings once every month or two.
